COWPARADE WORLDWIDE
CowParade is one of the largest and well succeeded contemporary street art events in the world. Lasting for more than five years this project has already travelled all over 24 cities around the world, including Chicago, New York, London, Las Vegas, Brussels and Prague.
The exhibition is composed by cows moulded in fibreglass at the same cow's life-size to be worked into a canvas. CowParade is one of the very few projects that involves the community as a whole: companies, local artists, third sectors/parties and the public working together to create the art and to transform the event in a big success.
It has been created in Zurich - Switzerland, in 1998. Since its conception the success follows its track. It's a very amusing way to express the street art and several opportunities are opened to different trade marks or brands segments besides promoting a real democratic opportunity of culture.
In 2005, the CowParade's cows will tour for the first time in South America at the CowParade Sao Paulo event.
